Group description
Our group develops and studies mathematical models (mainly based on partial differential equations) for the design of prototypes and processes in science and technology. We perform the mathematical analysis of the modelos and develop software packages for the required simulation as well.

There is a wide spectrum of fields of interest, like: epidemics, lithium batteries, oil spills, risk analysis, bioreactors, image processing, elasticity, structures, new materials, catalysis, homogenization, climatology, nuclear fusion, etc.
